People of years ago always lived longer than the people of today. Why? One reason the food was grown naturally, and the earth was more Mineral enriched earth. They use what little land they had to grow their own. They took pride in planting, and didn’t have to condition the soil. If you had nothing but a plot of land you learned to utilize it for your survival. People were canning and storing food for the winter ahead. Today the earth has been taken over by chemical processing, genetic engineering, microwaveable jet set quick meals with no real food value. People are not living past 65 years old especially our Native Indian people who know the earth. And we are supposed to continue to help Mother Earth to produce vegetables, fruits and learning herbs of the field for our medicine.
Now we have become unbalanced in our mental, physical and spiritual senses. Let’s start with the physical and learn what we need to know about the foods we are putting into our mouths. We need to know more about the food we eat. Just because a food may contain special nutrients, does that mean it is good for your?
White Sugar, How to Eat to Live
White sugar is sweet, it tastes good but it is a drug! By my own experience I can testify to that. White sugar is a highly refined carbohydrate. The refining process was invented by a black man named Norbert Rillieux. He invented the process to help produce better minerals and metals, but his invention was turned into a weapon against slaves. His refinement process when used for sugar became a health destroyer and a weapon of enslavement. Norbert Rillieux’s plans for refining was stolen by the master of slaves and planted by slaves to make rum that resulted in the white sugar and slave trade. The sugar was then fed back to the slaves in every type of food.
Sugar enslaves the internal organs of the body. It contains no vitamins, minerals or fibers. Sugar consumption causes addiction it actually causes addition. It makes the body crave sugar and this results in physiological slavery to sugar. White sugar robs the body of vitamins, especially vitamin E. This robbery results in drowsiness, temper outbursts and violence. Sugar leads to poor digestion of starches. The body compensates for the sugar vitamin drain by getting the needed vitamins form the liver, kidneys, heart and nervous system. This is the primary cause of diseases in the metal and physical sense. Take note of children with memory lapses, hypertension, cavities, absent mindedness, laziness, mental fatigue, mischievousness, delinquency and many others. Take not, anything strong enough to destroy hard teeth must be strong enough to destroy or damage the soft tissues of the heart, kidneys and liver.
Combining white sugar with other foods is dangerous. White sugar or any sugar including honey combined with meat causes the rapid spoilage of meat in the stomach. You should never eat meat and sugar products together. Sugar with grains, bread, rice, cereal causes rapid spoilage of the grain. This can cause catarrh (colds, sinus congestion, running nose). There is no apparent reason for 150 pounds of sugar in the diet each year. White sugar damages and weakens the immune system. It requires whole calories and nutrients, vitamins and minerals to use the empty calories. It raises the sugar level in the blood that causes low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and high blood sugar (diabetes). It is a pure non food. Sugar is hidden in many foods such as mustard, catsup, beans, milk, soups, chili, pizza, aspirin, seltzers, baby foods, meat dishes, mouthwash, toothpaste, corn syrup, sweeteners, etc. Many mental patients and criminals have been found to have low blood sugar caused by white sugar.
Some people say brown sugar and raw sugar are better for you. Neither sugar contains any nutrients and cannot be considered a food. If you are going to use any sugar do not use the substitutes, they are more dangerous. These artificial sugars are more damaging to the body. Professional athletes have found that sugar taken after a workout causes muscle soreness. Sugar taken before exercise causes weakness and interferes with sweating.
The alternative for sugar junkies are natural occurring sweets such as fresh fruit, dried fruit and date sugar. It is obvious that sugar is dangerous and the sugar addict is never far from their next fix. I have researched this information and I apply it with my own experiences. I give credit to Llaila O.
